WHAT DO YALL MEAN THE ROMANCE IS FORCED ????? there were signs… yeonsu’s been there since the beginning and it’s clear mc didn’t feel anything for her until she’s an adult. if author wasn’t planning on making her the love interest, they wouldn’t make her appear every certain chapter. everytime he enters a new arc, yeonsu would be mentioned or appear. i do agree that the author could’ve done a better way to make mc realise he’s into her but i think it’s pretty on brand with him. he’s very work driven and he doesn’t think much of romantic relationships. yeonsu’s also been a constant in his life so he doesn’t feel the need to discover anything. however, once yeonsu is going out of his reach, he started to worry bcs this time he wouldn’t be able to be one of the firsts to know if anything happened. anyway, i do agree romance sometimes ruin the story but in this case, romance makes sense bcs one of the things he lacked in his past life was love. he’s a good looking and well mannered man. it doesn’t make sense for him to not have a girlfriend or two throughout the story.

we need to talk about the fact that the mom brought men home and just let them rape her probably 5 year old son. that is unforgivable and momo was completely justified in not forgiving her. the sheer brutality of rape really shook me to my core and that panel of momo as a child really broke my heart. even in chapter 4 where both main characters were meeting each other’s child version, i couldn’t help but feel sad and disgusted over the fact that a momo’s child ver were listing a package of prostitution.
