I dropped reading it on the 11th chapter after all that rape bs and seeing one of the comments talk about the novel, it’s a shame. I REALLY like this artstyle, the way this artist draws is like eye candy to me but like why do the stories they draw are such dog dookie... and problematic huh… if you like this then whatever man, unethical BLs like these is like how people read splatter gore books for fun. I’m proud to say that I’m never gonna touch this again, I wish mangago has a feature where you can blacklist a manga from ever seeing it in a category cause everytime I see it in the update yaoi tag I feel a sense of dread

I don’t get how people can say that this is pseudo incest or call the duke a pedo, while there is a huge plot hole as to how they met that wasn’t from the fountain. It’s clear that the younger duke first met Alois as an adult, it wouldn’t be until the older version of him was like ok go find him is where he met the younger version of Alois. I think it’s safe to say that the younger version fell in love with Alois present imo.
The duke helped him grow up but there was no indication that they are considered as ‘parent and child’ he didn’t groom him to be his lover. He even rejected Alois advances even though he is a legal adult. Duke wanted the best for Alois even if it wasn’t with him, he even admitted that in chapter 4. I don’t want to say media literacy is dead but some of these comments… overall it was a solid read, neither bad or good.

Finally… hatefuck yuri…. This is all I wanted…, I’m gonna cry from joy. The complexity between these two character is so, god I love women

Honestly, the art and the sex scenes were awesome but like. I can’t get over the fact that these guy are technically related, I guess it’s like marrying a second cousin?? Kinda weird, also felt bad for Jashid for doing stuff to the royals just to meet the dragon

I did some digging through the original works and I didn’t even know that it was a novel originally. I looked through the artist account on Twitter (@samaksatang) said that it will end on chapter 40 and there wouldn’t be any sides stories, but the author of the Hungry Souls novel (@AI_tuner) just released the second part called Scorched souls featuring the Alpha and the older brother. Apparently it was finished 5 years ago and they never uploaded it lol. It should be on Ridibook now if anyone’s interested in knowing the second part!

I don’t know if the artist will draw the second part but I can only hope

It ended pretty abruptly but I had a feeling that the author was going back and forth with it, there’s some cuts in the story that felt unfinished. Not the best but it was pretty ok. Call me crazy but I think the older brother and Alpha should boombayah or something

I see a lot of comparisons with killing stalking and night painter or whatever. Never read painter of the night but I can definitely see the sangwoo comparisons. I have a feeling that the story is just gonna be another copy and paste of a sexually abusive top and an a bottom who can’t escape from him unless one of them is dead by the end of the story

Something about this story just feels off idk, like there are a lot of things that could’ve been avoided or changed to make the dynamic more better. I like the idea of them being childhood friends but it just happened so quick and there’s really no clear indication of time.

ML is just… not a good pick, it could work out if he had more depth to his character rather than:
-hold grudge
-is asshole
-is rich smart asshole
-is dumb now in my opinion and can’t contribute more to the story other than to wallow and let MC handle the abuse all over again

I can understand that he doesn’t have the power like the antag who’s straight up yakuza but come on man you have money or something. The “medicine” can’t be the only thing he’s got going for him, he needs to like, buy an artillery tank and start blasting.

A reincarnated MC is never gonna be safe from staying out from the spotlight and wanting to live the side character life. And again another selfish alpha Male lead whoop de doo, it doesn’t make sense to me cause if the original story has the alpha with his first husband does that mean he’s gonna divorce him if he stays with MC? Either way the whole arrangement is messed up, but the character designs for both of them are cute

There’s really no plot if I’m gonna be honest, no one is winning and they’re both miserable. It’s just that the guy as the bottom just accidently got into it or it’s a Stockholm syndrome kinda thing. Only good thing is that the bottom fucks the girls and take their money got karma but the r@pe scenes are… ew. Love the designs for both of them, just wished it was a different story and setting.

I gotta say first chapter kinda got blindsided after the other ones but it’s a somewhat better approach and I guess fifth chapter cleared it up by omega saying that he only… did that so he can get mated so his mom doesn’t have to worry? Not a good look on him since first chapter he got him drunk and tried to do exactly the thing he would have hated if it was done to him. If I was alpha guy I would avoid at all cost. The near SA scenes doesn’t make it better but happy ending for them… I guess…

Can this story get any worse? Everyone’s a piece of shit except for the beta dude. I hope the Alpha Male lead chokes and dies, the dad is even worse for even letting it happen in the first place. Alpha dude is selfish prick who is still keeping both relationships, what a dipshit.

I hope Yewon realizes and leaves him for good and curse out his mom cause what the hell. I know Yewon cheated too but that was after seeing how Alpha wasn’t talking to him. What’s even worse is that Alpha had asked him out FIRST. Then later on proceeds to cheat on him repeatedly, even after knowing what’s he’s doing and calling himself a piece of shit. He doesn’t own up to his mistakes and refuses to take responsibility of dumping his beta boyfriend and admitting to Yewon that’s he’s a shit eating man whore.

After chapter 22 I gave up and skimmed through the pages like I was speed running it, imagine my shock when I figured out that the omega dude was actually beta dudes dad. I hate everyone but Yewon, I need Yewon to have an arc where he just explodes everyone and the end, god. If anyone likes this story then do so but I refuse to finish it now after chapter 47, I can’t accept cheating when it’s from the main “couple”.
