in the novel jill was downright pissed at Fl's father for locking her up, he was super resentful that she had to be locked up like that due to liz and he made sure that the father knew that, henry, the fl's mother and duke too was super pissed. the mother was so pissed she compeletly started to ignore the husband, the father gave the libary access to a sad jill who throw himself deep into his studies, he never comforted the father by saying "fl brought it upon herself" what a mess....and in the novel she doesnt wound the people who wounds her and jill, she simply kill em. duke never tells her off like he did in the manga and etc
