For a moment I thought when Kyoko thought about the reason behind the pinky ring for good luck charm, she would realize that maybe Ren too give Kimiko the pinky ring only for that reason to encourage his co star who has some trouble about her acting, not out of love or something with deeper meaning just pure sympathy like when he is being so nice and patiently guide his co star in the early chapter who has trouble memorizing her dialogue because she was so nervous.
