Why would it be the other way ? Why would Yuyang pursue him when he doesn't want go date him ? When he isn't ready ? Did he force Lihuan to do so ? He tries again and again to make Lihuan give up so he's not to blame if Lihuan can't accept it. Yuyang doesn't owe him anything, really.

And please the girl doesn't want to help them as persons, she fetishizes them and found it exciting, thinking it was one of her bl game or book.

We all know what Yuyang's POV. He likes Lihuan but he is afraid of getting into a relationship. What I really hate is the plot of this story. It always end up like this. It became a cycle. Everytime Lihuan make a moves to be closer to him, Yuyang steps backwards, he backs out. He is insecure. I'm not blaming him for that. It's just, how many times this situation should happen for Yuyang to trust himself and be confident that he deserve Lihuan. And also to trust Lihuan's feeling for him.

And for the girl, i'm actually pissed on how she involve herself. But I don't think she deserve to be hated. How we react to this is based on how Yuyang will perceive the girl's intention. What if, in a different scenario, what the girl did trigger Yuyang to confess to Lihuan. Then, maybe right now, we are not hating her.

Trust isn't built in a day. Insecurities don't disappear overnight. Yuyang has not fully confronted his issues yet, so how can we expect him to accept Lihuan so easily? And for what it's worth the small snippets of the future we've seen so far show Yuyang as an active part of their relationship in the future. The eventual relationship is not one-sided at all and honestly, I think that's way more important than who's chasing who.

There is a difference between liking someone and wanting to enter a relationship, read the second part I said "he isn't ready", Yuyang isn't ready and doesn't want to to do it NOW when he can't trust Lihuan or anyone for that matter. He has no reason to go after Lihuan nor DOES HE OWE HIM ANYTHING.
He'll have to do so when he is ready to let go and trust people again.

Insecure and scared ? Yes and it's normal seeing what he went through.

Useless ? Seriously go live in China, go through your coming out and have your whole family reject you and try to change you (who knows if they forced him to go through therapy), go face homophobia when you are a KID ! Go on after being left behind for girls more than once by guys who used you bc of curiosity.

Gosh here u are again, seriously your hate for Yuyang is unhealthy at this point, go out and go get some fresh air instead of answering every comment that dare defend him every time.

I know, I never denied that he loved him, I just said that he wasn't ready and didn't want to enter a relationship because of it. I understand but in a way that's how it works sometimes in real life ? You don't overcome insecurity and lack of trust in a few days or few weeks, especially if it's within you since a long time ago and you sufered from it. When it happens to you no matter how hard the other person tries you "can't" see it, even if you want to there is always a thought that tells you "don't, you'll suffer later".
The reason it happens often is also because Lihuan rejects rejection (I don't blame him at all).

I never "hated" her but I disliked her and her actions as soon as she appeared, before she even messed up because I hate this kind of people in real life, you should NEVER interfere in someone else's relationship, can you try to help them by giving them advice ? Of course. Can you meddle by telling them what to do (because you read it somewhere) or simply go see the other person to try something ? Hell no, never, even if you're friends, it's even worse if you barely know eachother.

I agree that people would love her if she succeeded but it doesn't make her actions any more right.

"Trust isn't built in a day. Insecurities don't disappear overnight." Yes, I know that. But we are in Chapter 83 already. There were a lot of times that this kind of situation happened. And it saddened me because as Yuyang able to resolve his issues and accept. Here he go again taking a step backward. It hurts me when Lihuan is blaming himself for what happened. It's not about who's chasing who. I want Yuyang to not run from his insecurities and resolve his issues because for what I see Lihuan is helping him to solve that but he's just running away from it.

And I actually don't like it when they're chapters showing them dating already. Yes, it's an assurance that they are happily dating in the future but I can't enjoy reading it since there are facing problems in the present. Peace

I agree with your sentiment but I feel like, based on how I understand the story, Yuyang is not trying to overcome his insecurities and is running away from it. There were times that he was able to gain trust to Lihuan and himself but a problem arises and he will lose it again. Also, I disagree with your statement "Lihuan rejects rejection". For what I see it, Lihuan loves him that's why he didn't give up being with him. Lihuan was there to help him overcome his insecurities and trust issues but Yuyang, I feel like he was trying to push Lihuan out of his life.

As for the girl, I agree with you. She was driven by her emotion being a fujoshi. She even made Lihuan do things from a manga. But also remember that Yuyang actually saw her as a potential lover to Lihuan and that became a trigger for him to rejects Lihuan. She has good intentions but it got bad results. And i feel like your mad, please don't be.
