I got stuck on the part that the boss was getting mad that he didnt spend his days off with a client...do we have different definitions for the term day off?

Hosts are supposed to send their off days with clients during daytime hours at least once a week so that their clients think they are special. If they only see them at night they realize that it really is a job and they have no chance. Day hanging gives the notion that they are “different”
