i can understand mc. His boss said you will work with him and give him this job. He is in a country where he doesnt know anything so he doesnt trust ML but he just dont have choice. You guys saw it too. Although he had come prepared, he was attacked repeatedly. He doesnt have sources or information except the ML. Yeah this mission seems like a trap. I feel like his boss betrayed him and ML is the actual bastard he might need to catch. But he doesnt have reasons to be suspicious about his boss. It is not like he wanted this mission or became obstacle. They gave it to him. He is just confused and just following orders or stuff for now. Im sure he is not average spy.
