how can the kingdom let a house be this despicable publicly? i mean why cant all the house just join forces to take down her family..everyone is so damn scary （/TДT)/
Okay, so my theory on the Agriche house is that they serve 2 primary purposes. Only one was stated in the story.
1) They publicly handle the demon situation. We just learned that Dion gets sent out to hunt down and capture demons, so I'm thinking that's what their house does as a sort of service to the kingdom (is it a kingdom? Idk). Cassis seems to know what the demons are, so it's not a thing that the Agriche are doing secretly, I think.
2) They control the criminal underworld. This was stated explicitly at the beginning. For this kingdom, it's probably beneficial to have the underworld supervised or controlled by a noble house to prevent it from going too far or having a rebellion start there. The logic is if something is regulated, accidents are less likely to happen
