kou didn't deserve shinobu. a bittersweet ending with them breaking it off for good would have been a million times more satisfying.

i'm a little torn when it comes to this story.
overall i liked the main couple. the ml was really shitty in the beginning but in the end there was enough depth for his redemption to feel not completely out of place. although i don't think the assault part is redeemeable. the mcs thoughts after that didn't feel like falling in love to me but more like ptsd. so this is an aspect of the main couple that's really weird to me but they had their cute moments and i really really liked the mc. he is cute and has an interesting personality that made me really root for him! i'd love to be friends with him, he's really sweet and cool and while he has his pushover moments, he can be a very strong person.
the other couples ... oof. while the main couple's story could already be called "dating my bully" the other ones are even more just ... that: dating the bully. and the author hands out redemption for the bullies like free candy! i was hoping so much that the archer guy wouldn't go with blondie omg. how is this a happy ending? lil bro is traumatized. at least the otaku couple were childhood friends so there was a solid base for them connecting emotionally again, although the assault and bullying instantly being forgiven was offputting too. but with the archer storyline the author really went in with the trauma just to do nothing with it. as someone with ptsd myself it doesn't sit right with me and was really painful to read.
overall i still enjoyed the comic though. it was compelling, the art style is unique and very cool, and i loved the fluffier parts. mc and ml being lovey dovey was so cute. i'd just have to overlook so many things that don't even fit in this review to come to agree with people calling this a master piece and i can't do that.

sometimes i'm really confused about the rating. how can 66,9% say "yeah this is some 5 star shit"?? T_T

easiest 5 stars ever. this is peak. it's light hearted so the story isn't super deep and complex but that's just not the kind of webtoon it's meant to be. it's meant to be cute, funny and entertaining and cute, funny and entertaining it is!!! i rarely laugh while watching or reading something, even if i think it's really funny, but this comic made me chuckle several times. my grandma got hospitalized today and i even forgot about that while reading this (sorry grandma).

i get that people found eden annoying when he refused max' proposal. i can't stand unnecessary drama either. but alexa and especially rua being there to support them (me!!) emotionally brightened up those chapters. i didn't think it dragged on too long. i loved eden and max being so cute all the time, never getting mean.

there are just three things i really would've wanted to see. the first one being what eden did when he was at that river of time. it must have been so long for him. did he just sit on his ass, waiting for the time to go by?? second one being more elf stuff in general. edens family, elf culture, etc. third one is max complimenting eden on his ears. did he ever do that? i don't know. even if he did, he should've done that a lot more. eden looks so cute with those ears and he needs to hear that.

moments we need to talk about because i was like "omg so real" lmao:
- max cheering eden on when eden masturbated the first time
- alexa sleeping on 4 chairs
- rua just stealing stuff all the time
- eden bringing poseidons dick and medusa stomping on it
- sex coach lady drawing the stick figure of eden
- max and eden switching things up
- eden seeing how max "finished" the embroidery

this story has aspects i really loved, it was compelling and i had a lot of fun reading it but on the other hand it felt really ... flat. i really liked that there's so much plot around the mcs carreer and it brought me so much joy seeing that he wasn't just the kind of pushover bottom we all know from other stories. he really stood his ground when it came to all these issues with his agency. LOVE THAT FOR HIM!!
but there were many moments where the story and the characters were just lacking depth or any complex thought. their struggles felt so shallow. biggest wtf moment was when kyunghan wanted to commit suicide and mc just pulled the pitbull "been there done that"-move and 5 minutes after that everything was fine??? like???????????
and that's how all the problems the characters face in this story feel like. the story hat so much potential but it kinda fell flat due to the execution that feels like there wasn't much thought put into it.
it was still worth my time reading because i'm a sucker for lovey dovey scenes so overall i still enjoyed it

it started off really well and i like the whole story but i really disliked it being so rapey. the story would've worked exactly the same if they just had a steamy consensual night together, feelings got complicated, bottom went to the military and when top finds him again badaboom badabang they are so happy in love they fuck 5 rounds in the dungeon next to the demon ant corpses. it's so weird to me why they had to include several rape scenes. it could've been so much better.

I think the author is talented because the storytelling and the characters are compelling and the art is beautiful but the plot ... is kinda ass. This dream bs is too repetative to go on for that long. I was so glad when it was over only for the drama to become even more unnecessary and the plot leading nowhere. It's sad that it sucks because it could've been really good.

AI art isn't even the biggest problem (and that says a lot). The visual story telling is just non existent. It's just basic portrait panel after basic portrait panel in slightly varying angles. If I ignore that AI art is basically theft from all the artists whose pictures have been stolen for AI training I at least get how someone couldn't be bothered to learn how to draw and to put in all the work so they use AI to tell their story. Low lvl shit but ... yeah. But not even bothering to write a few more prompts so the AI can generate a few more panels that would give the readers of a visual medium something slightly interesting to look at? That's lazy even for an AI "artist" lmao. Just let the AI write a book for you at this point.

This is a BL so why do I ship devil king x princess so hard??! They are so cute. The other couples are adorable aswell. I love the sillyness!

I was really excited about the story when I started reading it but as soon as the brother got involved it started to make less and less sense. On one hand i like cute and shy characters like Woojin but I didn't like that there were basically no situations in wich he took responsibility or solved any problem. He basically ran from all the problems until they got figured out by others or just disappeared. He never told his bf the exact relationship he had with his brother. His bf basically thinks that he slept with the brother (the hickey) and when he mentioned the hickey Woojin was just like: "..." and later he got caught pants down with that brother in a motel room and he didn't explain anything about the situation. He's just immune to being held accountable lmao. It annoys me a bit because the story could have been so much better with a little more character development. It's still sweet tho.
