re reading it you can tell the author was going for a romance with sensei but as the story progress they're just having fun and kind of set aside the love story

Oh yeah completely agree, honestly she has such a good dynamic with pretty much everyone, i would be interested in seeing her go out with another boy even before ending (if she does) with her teacher. And i love her platonic dynamic with him, childhood kinda friend kinda babysitter make very cool interactions, i can't wait to see how it will progress in the future

I remember why i dropped the story, reading the raws i just start rooting for the crush's friend knowing that it was doomed.
Like, is it just me or every times there's a mc that's been in love with the same guy for a long time without any kind of hint that it's requited or the other guy is acting like a jerk because he loves him too but apparently doesn't want to tell him and there's another guy that comes and begins to show interest in him I immediately start rooting for him instead of the actual love interest ? I just feel like, the protagonist deserves better and should move on. Like even if it's not the love interest's fault or even if he eventually start loving him back, the mc really needs to move on and go to someone who's actually interested or even shows interest in the first place. Also, the mc's almost always in love with a guy that he doesn't even really know, like the idea he has of him?

IKR, i was really mad at Hyunwoo for being so stupid af. First, he pushed Subin feeling's coz apparently he was scared on what will happen to their relationship if it really came true and then the second he was around he kissed and made Subin really confused. Like, he already knew that Subin had already feelings for him why let him go? And now he regrets? He fucking wasted every opportunity that he had on Subin. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ. Ok sorry for the rant. Spur of the moment.

Not to mention his wishy washyness had him leading Subin on for so long it destroyed their friendship. And when he realized what he wanted, it was too late. Subin was tired of the games and Hyunwoo waited too long to chase after him.
I wonder if Hyunwoo and that cheating slut of a Hyung got together...it was weird how the series ended with them like that.
It was just so ambiguous how the 5 characters are doing and their relationships.

y'all cussing at Carl but my man did NOTHING wrong, like it seems like he genuinely care for the mc compared to the rest of his family (except the mom). Like, it looks like mc grew up with Carl by his side and they probably have a deep relationship, probably not romantic but they do seem to care for each other

mami and masumi fight was so interesting and so well written for a topic that is really hard to touch in my opinion. Both opinion were valid, Mami's right to say that Masumi is isolating herself but also, Masumi's right to tell her that she wouldn't understand. Just because you're an ally, or even if you did research on the lgbtq community, it doesn't mean that you can understand what we go through, and in a way, it's hard for you to have a valid opinion on the subject especially without looking like a know-it-all straight cis person that's going to say 'homophobia is bad but you lied to me bc someone was threatening to out you' (love simon im still mad) but in the manga, Mami isn't like that at all. I do regret that the author voiced more Mami's opinion than Masumi but well.

never thought of it like that but i can totally see it now ! But i do hope we'll get to see more of how she deals with her sexuality in the next chapter. Touma's breaking point was violent, he really hated that he couldn't live his life without worrying and that people would be hateful toward him if they knew about his orientation. Masumi's kind of the opposite, she hated *herself* for liking who she liked. That's why i was kinda disappointed that we didn't see more of her thoughts on her sexuality, her tears were powerful but i would like to see how much her words are. The author asset in my opinion is how she really voice all kind of problems resolving around identity, and since the beginning i've been wanting to see more of Masumi's because her character is very interesting and i do hope we'll get to see that in the next chapter instead of brushing it of and only seeing other's opinion on how THEY feel she should feel.

Somehow we have seen that a little? Masumi had a talk with Touma's sister-in-law. She's able to talk with adults or at least hinting about her sexuality, however her past actions and her conversations (for example with Touma's sister-in-law) imply she's looking for an external validation - something society can't give her and if my memory serves me right, what she says to Mami is kinda similar to what she says to the sister-in-laws -, while fearing her peers' 'point of view'.
My interpretation would be "she cries because she doesn't have the right words to express how she truely feels/how she's lost".

In a way yeah, but i feel like she never really confronted her feelings? like yeah, there's been some hint with her conversation but it's never full on addressed. Like, in those conversations, we kind of feel like she's holding back. After them she does seem to want to change a little (like when we see her listening to the songs sister-in-law recommended) but at the same time when her sexuality is hinted she immediately get so scared ? i feel like she feels a lot self hatred/guilt toward her attraction to girl and it's never fully voiced or confronted in a way that does affect her. Her conversation with Touma's sister in law get quickly overshadowed by the rest of the story, her conversation with Mami get quickly overshadowed by Mami's guilt, that's why i feel like there's should also be a part of the story focus on her, even if it's just a short chapter, like the talk with all the boys in the last chapters, a conversation focus on that where she can run away and/or has to face her problem and really talk about it
I mean they never even talked when they were in high school so of course when he confessed the answer was based on his look and not on his personality since he doesn't know him. Also it's not shallow to prefer looks, the first thing you see is appearance not personality :/
And dude didn't even rejected him badly, like he wasn't being mean he was just stating a fact: dude's small and he's into muscular hottie c'est la vie
PREACH
Exactly... I was like, is this a revenge thing? Over what??
The trust has been spoken! Haha. I agree. It's just that he's not his type, and they're not even close.
I mean truth. Autocorrect amp.
