You guys do realize that everything was a flashback. All the heartbreaking angst already happened before Jin and Hamura were reunited. During chapter 1 Hamura did say "So there's no lover" which implies that when Jin and Hamura met, Alex wouldn't be in Jin's life anymore. So, Hamura and Jin is more likely to end up together by the end of volume 4. I don't know, I'm just getting this from all the comments explaining what happened in the raws, I'm too scared to read it.

This kinda reminds me of beauty and the beast, around the first few parts of the first chapter.
1.) The most obvious, Kain has a high probability of being in love (romantically) with Licht, who is his twin brother. (This doesn't end well.)
2.) Abel (Kain and Licht's father) most probably also loves (romantically) his brother, Reihard-sensei. (This doesn't end well either.)
3.) Reihard-sensei was part of Ayase's harem for quite some time. Reihard-sensei is Ayase's uncle by the way. (Confirmed to just be fatherly love.)
4.) Mary (the girl Reihard loved but fell in love with Abel) most likely had an incestuous relationship with her son, Kain, because she thinks it's Abel. (This also doesn't end well, 'cause she dies.)
5.) Lastly, Ayase and Licht seems to be like a "couple" now ('cause this is shounen-ai people) and they are half-brothers. (This is what I kinda hope ends wells, wait, it's already THE END.)
