I wanted to quit reading around 10~17 chapters, but I kept pushing to see if it would get interesting. The main FL(Annete) design is bland. They keep giving her these "sharp" moments but I don't feel the impact at all.
The author should first let me start caring about her(FL) before they start bombarding me with stuff about her mother that the Wizard is obsessed with. She is supposedly getting married to the Duke in a month or so, but there are so many chapters in a row with the Wizard and all the talking about her mother that I'm here wondering if it even matters that she is engaged with the Duke.
If feels like nothing belongs to the FL. Looks=mother, talent=mother, a bit of personality=mother, some people(main wizard) obsessed with her=mother and others(2nd tower Wizards) interested in her=mother.
Don't get me started with the other characters. The 2nd(mc?) Marianett, does nothing except behave like a 5-year-old obsessed with her big "sister". The only thing she has done for her favorite character is make her go to the ball to get her a bf, which her sister got all by herself. And another thing is telling her to be careful of the Emperor when she is sked to have a private chat. Oh! Also, she reminded the readers that there was a wedding preparation going on by contacting the Duke about the wedding dress shopping when the FL was busy with the wizard for a lot of chapters. But, after all that she is the 2nd best character even though she doesn't appear as much.
Ch.40- The reveal that Marianett is not the same one was so anticlimactic. Didn't the Wizard say his magic does nothing to her? Which didn't make sense cause in their first meeting he takes her to his tower while she floats because of his magic. But anyway... He just touches her head for like 10sec and that's it! You are not the real sister! *shocker* Then she proceeds to tell everything to the FL easily. （￣へ￣）
I will drop this, but I hope sweet Noel has a happy ending.

Why is Lyla deciding who Fian can love or not? She already is very smart and knowledgeable about a lot of things. Does she think he doesn't know the consequences of him loving her and making the bond(or w/e it was called)?
And she even knows he might die later on. So, Wouldn't be better for her to stay by his side? （￣へ￣）
Well, I think it’s because at this point in this story she is not in love with him.
Uhh I think it's because she's indecisive and scared that she'll disappear. And because of that, fian's mom also doesn't want her to be around. Also it seems to me, but I'm not totally sure, the bond can be made without her consent as long as he knows her name (example of Philip).
You mean imprint? I think imprinting doesn't need her name nor consent, it's just like a dog peeing on a tree to mark it's territory or something alike. And yeah like his mother, our mc knows the possibility of her dying or not being able to come back in that world so she's afraid.

I like the whole plot line, but...
Is she stupid? If your NPC/model's pretty face makes people like you, then use that to your advantage! Why doesn't she want to be friendly with Cassiel? Doesn't she need him to finish the game?!
The whole thing about hiding her face seems so damn dumb to me. She is making her job harder. The first meeting with the Count would have gone waaay smoother just by showing her face and not being suspicious with the hood on. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
She was mostly saying that as a joke but the major reason why she keeps it hidden is because it would be suspicious. Most of them would believe she's an assassin that was sent and using her beauty as a trap.
Well this is gonna be bad. Her father really thinks she killed him.
I like she starts fixing sht fast. Even turning down her horrible father. In other stories, they would have milked that and still let the family do w/e cuz of the Main Heroine of the stories is her half-sister.
I don't remember the novel saying that he blushes this much or acts to this extent.
