At this point, I don't really care that much if Alpha team quit. First, they have families to lose if something goes wrong. So they would, in fact, be dangerous to MC if the enemies use them as MC's weakness. Second, they were taking too long to level up, and they'd probably die because of how much more stronger enemies are appearing. I reckon Sunghoon is better off allying with stronger people than waiting on the Alpha team.
On a side note, I'd like to think Sunghoon is still humane by telling his slaves not to risk their lives. Waiting if all that power will change MC for the better or otherwise.
