At her real age, I assumed she'd be able to tell that being punished and hiding her marks/scars is completely wrong. How could she say she was "tricked?"
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

To give her the benefit of the doubt, it could be something she never knew about in her previous life either. She could have believed it was something everyone went through and just didn't talk about - especially given how she was treated in her previous life, it's not so surprising that her standards of how everyone acts is pretty low

I also think it’s weird at first, and double read to make sure I’m understanding it correctly. But at the same time I feel like it’s possible to happen in real life. If someone tells you that you are worthless, ever since you are little, and no one change that view of yours, or basically you just unconsciously accept and don’t question it (very toxic environment). Perhaps it could happen. Still shocking though.

yeah it's just weird.. from what I remember from the last chapters, I thought she didn't say about the abuse and scars because she doesn't want to inconvenience the brothers since first brother are already busy enough and 2nd brother and 3rd brother are traumatized... and I also think that she just doesn't want the brothers to take the side of their aunt because she is not blood related to them. So yeah I'm just weirded out why she's saying that...

I mean she's living as a noble now and in that world she might have thought that it would be common sense amongst the nobles and that she didnt know because she was a commoner before. She also wasn't close enough to anyone to tell them what she was going through especially in her past life. So to try to fit in she believed the aunt who would, in her eyes be an expert in the ways of the nobles even though she WAS outright abusive.

Exactly. If you learn something incorrectly in your first life, you'll keep on making the same mistakes until someone helps correct you. Hari wasn't close enough to anyone in her past life that she could talk about her punishments with so it makes sense that she never learned that it wasn't something she was supposed to endure. She thought that it was normal for children to be punished that way and that it was embarrassing for another to see the scars since it serves to show your past mistakes
