As of current chapter, I rather find this story unique. Both get what they want without hinding anything from anybody. It's rather refreshing. If guy's a 'trash' for his reason, then girl marrying for money is a 'trash' too, because you know she could have worked her ass off to provide for her family instead of relying in the man ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Well her family debt could have been too much for her to handle her self and during that period it was hard for women to find work and she is a noble. Plus although she did marry for money it was a rightful contract, a give or take. It’s the same as her working for him And he giving her wages. Like hiring an actress. One: rubs the fact he has a lover in her face and the staff and says/act cruel to her, very childish
Two: He says she could have lovers as well since their relationship is a fake but he gets annoyed and act jealous when she is close to others
Three: he continues to break their contract by invading her private life and inviting her to banquets which was not part of their deal
Four: he is cheating on his girlfriend, and the way he act is kinda sleazy like easily falling for ppl hear and there, he was so in love with his mistress but he falls for viola easily, there is no proof that he won’t fall for another girl that is nice and caring

I agree. The debt of her fanily could have been too much. Hence daughters in these types of mangas have the sacrifical daughter trope who's willing to throw away their own happiness and pride for their family. While that could be admirable, I can see it in a negative light, too. If this was a different woman who could really save herself and her family, I'd prefer the stronger one. Hmm, I remember Pauliana. Nevertheless, I don't see MC regretting her decision, so I'm quite ok with her.
As for the guy, he's quite trashy as you have pointed out, so I don't see myself trusting his current "love" which feels more like infatuation rather than true love.
