Its not yaoi related but i broke my dad laptop and a cd of anime named chobits got stucked in it (its not obscene but there is a part where u have to activate a chobit that i think kinda red flag as a young child LOL)and my dad brought it abroad with him to fix it. I don’t think my mom is against it but it also never really crosses her mind.. like she doesn’t care what others like as long as it doesn’t concern her.. and I think that’s pretty open minded considering almost everyone in our community is most likely against lgbtq+ ..they tend to be “old-fashioned”..

Same. My family also knows I watch the so called "cartoons". Though once my mum saw an ad about a vampire anime overseas then she asked me "you watch this right?" and I was having flashbacks of what the anime's content and just answered a panicked "no". Now she probably thinks I like to watch vampire cartoons with hot men in it. Not too far off from my true hobby but better for her to think that
Omgggg. Well sometimes my phone freezes while reading a 'you know scene' in BL and in my head I imagine: What happens if it just freezes forever and I have to take this to the technician while my mum sees my hobby? I would rather leave my phone as it is rather than expose my self!
