When I saw that there was an update on the home page, I was happy of r a mili sec before getting hit by a wave of depression. This was one of those animes/mangas which has an ending you can appreciate and love but at the same time make you want to jump off the nearest skyscraper because it feels like a part of your soul has been ripped off.
Its hard to read about this couple every single update. They are what? 9th graders? How tf can you be so dense, clueless, and incapable of communicating with another living soul after being on Earth for 15 years?! These recent chapters are literally a depiction of what a relationship leading up to a divorce looks like, insecurity, blaming, unreasonable anger, mood swings.
Huh? The only times she was clueless was at the beginning of the story when she pushed her feelings onto someone else. Cliched, boring, naive stereotype of a female character, especially one who is a high schooler. Ugh, I've read too many of those to last me a lifetime.
Her character actually GREW by seeing that not everything is rose colored like YOU seem to believe it is.
When I was fifteen years old I quickly learned that the people who thought if you just 'kommyewneekayted' everything would be better, were simply victim blamers. They didn't care if they forced the person who was wronged to make the first move, because 'kommyewneekayshun' is so fu***** awesome and solves ALL the problems. All THAT lead to was feelings of resentment, even MORE insecurities (oops?), depression, low self esteem, etc....
And a fifteen year old knowing how to play the rules of the kommyewneekayshun game when not even most adults do, is obviously a lie sweetcheeks. After all the girl TRIED to play this game at the beginning and even YOU are now saying she didn't play it right. Hypocrisy much? Oops, again?
And many a marriage THRIVES because of these insecurities, blaming, anger, etc.... Wanna know WHY? Because no one marries a perfect person, they marry someone BECAUSE of their imperfections.
This rose colored view of the world you have is so disappointing.

I could honestly live without reading this manga. I'd rather miss a good story than read it and then cry afterwards bc i feel empty.
I saw this in the notification and literally flipped my laptop not only to find that the chapters got skipped from 38 to 70 but that these "new" chapters were chapters 37 and 38. I swear the req to be a manga,manhwa,webtoon, and manhua author is to have exceptionally poor heal and lack the understanding that they need to take a break, pushing themselves to work with their absurd work schedules.

Soooo long story short, the two were in love with one another (they were pretty damn cute as well) but one of them chose to fricken move on and date > marry > and have kids with a girl leaving the other one to eventually do the same. Its a prequel to (i think) 2-3 other mangas which are ALL good.
I cannot even when it comes to that one. I have that on a list of, “Don’t ever read unless you want to bawl your eyes out and hate yourself afterwards.” I don’t look at tags for manga, I just let them surprise me. Big mistake. Even now just looking at the cover art makes me cry.

Hana No Miyako De, is so tragic when read alone but on the bright side at least the married guy's son get his own boyfriend and they are happy. But it still makes me sad when you see the professor alone and still after so many years in love with the guy who dumped him to get married.

Well, it was about conforming to the social norms of that time, and let us not forget that story is a kind of prologue to the main story and set at a time where gay people were ostracised. The character who got married did not really have much choice in the matter.
At this point im praying that they are told they are like 5th cousins or something because bro and sis... yea no. Itd be cool to if we find out they are adopted....... anything but direct incest please
I know of a real nice married couple who have 3 kids that are fine.... but every time I see them I have to look away because they are full blooded siblings! There super nice but I just can't get over it! It makes me feel bad but I strongly disagree with incest. Also way I only read half of the first chapter.
Yea i know a pair of 2nd cousins who married myself. I love the bc we're childhood friends but my god, their kids... I love them to bits and they are normal but I cant help but fear that one of them might end up like Joffrey from GoT as he gets older. Welp only time can tell I guess
