From my understanding, the MC suffers from depression. Glad there are people who motivate and try to understand her. Living without knowing what you love to do and your purpose is a burden. It's floating through life and it's tiresome. That's why she just want to sleep and do nothing. It's like her mental fatigue manifests in her body. In real life, people with support like the emperor in the story are lucky enough, to have someone by their side as they try to keep their mental health well.
