Oh no, I'm a sucker for happy endings and I don't know how we will get one now, I don't like what's happening but from a storytelling standpoint is a really interesting route

Quetzaly September 26, 2019 3:15 am

Not dividing it by chapters so sorry about that.

She gets rescued and her father kills the mage, Estelle is in a shocked stare and unresponsive but she manages to ask her father to save 13. She spends two chapters in that state but she is concious and worries about all of her friends/servants that are worried for her, she wants to feel pain so she can maybe be able to go back to normal so she attempts to jump from her balcony, she is saved by Emiel and he says he blames himself and that makes her break free of the shock state and bite him so he releases her , then she tells him it's not his fault. Estelle asks her father to let 13 work at the house as a servant and he agrees but reveals that 13 is a girl, 13 asks Estelle for a name and she names her Anne (Like Anne with an E, Netflix/book) . And asks her father to let her make a pack with a spirit, she does and gets two, a water wolf with hralaing powers and a dragon.

    *Healing powers

The green haired guy is from the spirit pact family (forgot the name) and tells her to be careful with the power but if she only uses it for little things it will be ok, because the spirits are helping her willingly. A timeskip. The problems with the dad and the mage tower get solved (they were angry because they killed that mage). Estelle has trouble sleeping so Emiel carries her all night and she sleeps on his arms, they also have a conversation in which he says he will serve her and her children. This comes from Estelle asking the guards capitain about Carl's mother and his relationship with her father, and him telling her that he was serving under him even before he was the Lord of the house and that the state was a happier place now that she was here because her dad and brother learned how to love

It seems I have a new daughter now, I love her and I would die for her

Quetzaly September 14, 2019 9:11 pm

I love that his name is Leto, I always loved that name since the Greek mythology (She is the goddess of motherhood and the mother of Artemis and Apollo)

    ga;sap September 14, 2019 9:21 pm

Actually his name is Léto. They have a spelling mistake there. In some chapter, they were telling that he comes from Czech republic. It means summer from czech to english.

    ga;sap September 14, 2019 9:38 pm

Or was he polish? I can't remember right now. Well if he is czech, that i would think he also has a czechish name.

He's Czech. The author confirmed it.

Yup, yup he's Czech. Also, summer in Polish is 'lato' compared to Czech 'léto'. * insert same same but different but still the same gif *

    Oh thank you!

I found it odd for him to have a Greek name, although Léto has a nice meaning as well

Oh man this was good... Actual chemistry on a BL manga, how's that even possible /s

Now being serious, this was a surprise but a welcomed one. The plot, characters, relationship, pacing... Everything was so good, it felt natural, you could feel the tension between the characters, I'm just rambling at this point but really, it's so rare to find something like this

    blueblack December 1, 2019 7:49 am

All of this author's work are nice, good to see characters on an equal playing field, rare for this genre. The prison scenes stood out though, little communication allowed, but still managing to get the message across, such as showing he has been allowed to grow his hair long, for release.

Quetzaly September 4, 2019 9:27 pm

I want to thank the author for going for this ending and not the ooc ending, it was impossible for this to end differently, I love Clark, I think he is one of my favorite characters, he is a high functional (I dare to say) psychopath

Thanks for the update

I liked it at first because of how brutal the themes are and the MC has no regrets but I got tired of the lazy plots and how every villain is the same and has a hate boner with MC, I don't even know what this story tries to accomplish

A LOT of chinese novels (and manhuas) have this type of storyline, I don't even know why I torture myself by reading them lol

Oh darn, I had no idea this was Chinese, to be fair their webtoon culture it's still new so they will break free of this in a few years, I hope

When you mean to like, but that didn’t happen

    Hotaru [firefly] August 30, 2019 2:16 am

its a chinese thing. There story structure and character dynamic is something that most of the western world look at and question. The characters are always op in action themes or highly intelligent in every other genre, yet if the MC is a woman, she is a damsel in distress who needs the intervention of a man.
There stories are really dull that way.
