8.9 rating is too low for this story....
Slow-burn romance, healthy ADULT relationship, plot with action and crime, adult characters with actual personality, good art. Yeah, the detective looks indeed tired, haggard, stressed-out, almost lifeless... Welcome to the real adult world, you're gonna know that when you are 30-35+.
Okay, gotta be honest... This story is kinda dragging on and sadly the uncle and some of the other side characters seem to be much more interesting than the two MCs . Still appreciate that it has an actual plot and pretty good art.
So Siyeol can't escape the council's decison to be the next hybrid leader. I thought the ending would be different, but tbh, this ending is realistic (and abrupt). At least, Soonam is by his side as a special advisor.
It has 24 chapters so far and is on hiatus. ＞﹏＜

I'm more invested in the step-bro and police officer's investigation.... Heeseo and Taekyung's toxic, hypocritical, self-sabotaging, soap-opera romance has become boring in S2. (I really enjoyed S1.)
I feel sorry for Gunner, but with all due respect, he needs to fuck off.... Hopefully he'll have a new LI and learn to move on from Theo.
