I really love the French guy and the secretary, and they are def cute, but does a cliché chasing story make sense in this case? The secretary was beside the blonde for like 10 years, he suddenly leaves, then the blonde is immediately pathetically yearning and in love? Can somebody really be that dense and oblivious like the blondie?
some people really are that oblivious to those around them when theyâre set on a certain idea (like how they were besties for life in this case). not necessarily because heâs opposed to something romantic or anything but he just didnât even think to think of it. but imo heâs genuinely questioning the base of their friendship, their dynamic throughout the years and what might happen to them in the future rn which is why he said âif weâre not lovers does our relationship really no longer hold any meaning to youâ
We def need more BLs like this -- actual intricate plot, politics angle, this noir artstyle.

Suddenly a lovey-dovey and comedic tone???? I don't mind them getting together bc it was obvious they were gonna be endgame... but a few chapters ago it was all toxic and psychological with SA and an escape plan.
