It's not really unnecessary. Do you know "begin with your name" I heard rumours that it discontinued because of a kiss between two girls. So the government stepped up and the author stopped it and only gives us pictures of the two having fun together.
Homosexuality is strictly forbidden in almost all Asian countries. Not even just Asian countries but so many more. And having the cencor with flowers or a "bait" where the girls show their love in indirect words or
actions is just a safer way to make sure not to be stopped. Especially China since they have very strict media regulations, flowers can be understood but at the same time it is a BIG cencor and if the artist/author ever is in trouble for it the can just say that it is not what it is and make an easy excuse (sry I ccidentally posted the first one)
I hope you understand and if cencor isn't really your thing then maybe look up some of the mahnwas since Korea isn't as strict with the stories but they are still censored to a certain part. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Then, isn’t there a way for the author to publish in a Korean, Japanese or American sites as long as they have the right translation?. It would a lot easier; I mean who wants a kiss or a peck on the lips or the cheek to get censored. ╥﹏╥
The Chinese media barrier is so bad that VPN's are almost nowhere to be found. And even if they publish it on a different site, you can always trace the person making the story so it's completely useless to even post it on an American site
Yeah the only way is for the author to move to another country, I believe the author of tamen di gushi was in the process of moving to Korea if I'm not mistaken, but it's still really hard
