
The only thing that feels kinda ridiculous at this point is the blasé treatment they have with immortality or lifespan. Every major character is practically immortal. Even the villainess. What? They didn't think it was suspicious that the princess never ages despite being alive that long? It's like the author is setting up the 'they lived happily ever after,' ending. I suppose stars aligned and allowed things to happen. Feels a tad too convenient for me.
That aside. I am loving this. Especially Zephyr's borderline amusement and frustration at Aryn's level of cluelessness. She's almost there. Almost is putting it nicely though. Looks like Elkinas will find out about her before she realizes his feelings as well as her own. I am speechless

And, instead of getting frustrated at the misunderstandings, I am laughing my ass off coz it's so damn childish! All of the issues could be resolved if they communicated. It's given me shocking goosebumps at the idea of meeting people this closed up and imaginative that they jump to a web of ideas instead of girding one's loins and talk as adults. Ridiculous
