But wtf. They were gonna do some nasty shit to you. Can you imagine? They would have done the same to your sister if they got a hold of her too. He was trying to protect the rabbit. True he became a little more violent but to say that after he was rescued? Plus, the fuck. The tiger wasn't the one who trashed the restaurant. It was the damn leopards. They're trying to cow you into submission and your playing into their hands.
Damn this is making me so furious.
It's the fact that this work has been listed to be Completed at 6 volumes. 6! Volumes! I wonder at the accuracy of that. I wanna know how they'll be down the line (╥﹏╥)

Also, saw the raw of volume 1 and I am so furious at that doc for hitting on him considering he knew he was together with Shinobu. I don't blame Makoto for allowing it to some extent since he's at a vulnerable place. It feels like the doctor took advantage and I'm so pissed.
I do like that this story uses the concept of the flow of time much more effectively than Sousou no Frieren. Probably because we are taken so early on into his adventure outside the forest and see far more interactions with a variety of characters. I also do like the ripple effect of his actions and how a simple phrase he gave might not quite land the same in the ears of someone with a shorter lifespan.
The story is poignant and the character growth trickles in a way that is quite heavy sometimes. Though he is faced with the consequences of his choices thanks to outliving majority of his friends, his motivations stay the same. Help when he can. However, I do like how he feels more cautious and mindful of possible repercussions that he's most likely going to witness down the line.
I wonder if the omega symptoms he's exhibiting are psychosomatic in origin. Honestly, he needs serious therapy. Prolonged one from the looks of it. Every action he takes, he apologizes to his brother. He sleeps around, they all look like his bro. I know it stems from trauma but dude. All he's doing is marinating the guilt and fear in a pool of anxiety and deep depression.
He needs help. And not of the sexual kind. I hope this manga addresses that and not take the 'love cures all shit' trope.

ANAKIIIIIN! The dependence he has for her is not ideal but damn you green flag!
