If you've read the mangaka's other works, then you'd know rape is gonna be there on the agenda. Personally, I find it lazy storytelling. I like their art tho. ┐(´ー｀)┌ Might just wait for this to end before diving in to read. Not a fan of flashbacks and I have a feeling this one is gonna have a hefty one.

Would it actually be considered as crossdressing if it's actually generic, unisex armor? What people consider as female armor is fetish amor so.... it's not actually crossdressing and she's just wearing proper armor for her hero class.....?
I don't think it's intentional crossdressing. She is wearing traditional armor that intended for defense instead of the popular "female" armor that focuses on mobility. On top of her statuesque frame I think at minimum we can call this an unknowing trap.
i agree it safer too seeing how they usually make female armor, they make it so you can see everything on them, and it disgust me sometimes.
They explained the formal wear situation for knights in this recent chapter, so I assume her usual knight's armor is also a generic, unisex uniform. Tbh, I'm really happy with that explanation.
