Interesting so far. As the story moves along, something sinister is afoot as people seem to keep hating on MC for some reason. But someone seems to be responsible in whispering about her bad reputation. And it ain't that girl. Y'know the girl who's the central harem target. It's someone else. Wonder why?
It's the prince's older sister. And the reason is the typical isekai one.
This makes me think the story might be a bad rendition of the novel. Not that I've read it mind you. But holy hell where are we? ML, I don't even remember your shtick coz suddenly your mother is...cursed? What? You're related to the Emperor how again? Did they already mention what he's after? And, MC...huh? Where you at in life too? Why did she need to choose ML again? There was nobody better? Really?
1. Male Lead is a royal prince turned Grand Duke of Tessen. He is the youngest son of the previous emperor and the youngest brother of the current emperor.
2. The "mother" is not biological but someone wedded into the family. A step mother. She became "Duchess of Tessen" and it is implied that as the new Duchess, she was cursed to become old looking. That is why ML does not want to marry FL.
3. It is implied that The former Emperor made The ML Grand Duke of Tessen around 14 years old (the last time he didnt feel any pain) and that is when ML became cursed. (Anybody who inherits Tessen becomes cursed).

Luke is the easiest pushover to take advantage of with this mindset. What level of hell will it take for Luke to say, "Oh, it's hot here after all." Honestly, I get what the author wants for his character but his want to keep these toxic people WITHIN arms reach of him is not ok. He thinks Andrew is taking this too seriously? Fuck, really? It hadn't occurred to Luke how increasingly troubling things have been going? So, he's the type that he can take it and still be 'understanding?' What will it take then? Will it take for Andrew getting hurt (coz it might get there) for Luke to realize, "Oh shit. This is not okay?"

I strongly believe that even in the face of death, Lyrica's wish for her mother to be safe and happy made it possible for the mom to go back in time. Powers that be in her blood probably made it so.
