Saw a cover with a heroine with exactly the same hairstyle and thought this was that one. Turns out the one I read was a reverse harem story which I'm not a fan of. Thankfully this was uploaded so soon ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
A RANT. If you love the story, do move along.
I've seen the spoilers and I honestly didn't mind so much. But then I let it marinate in my brain and a LOT of stuff pisses me off the story.
1. Brainwash trope
Yeah, ok. I get it. This story was written during peak of the brainwash trope. My gripe is it's so poorly done here. I don't know how they're gonna do it in the manhwa but the novel basically brushed it off. Like a literal plot point that was over and done with. No real exploration of what she thought about the whole thing and her OGfam just...dies off. I mean, they loved her as much as new fam does but they basically get annihilated due to the brainwashing. Tho I think there was a survivor but he effectively exiles himself after big baddie is defeated.
2. ML. Really? He ain't even that interesting. He's so bland in character and execution that him being ML feels like such a self-insert. He's peak since he's basically an immortal god and can do no wrong so of course MC ends up with him. Personal opinion but I find it hella ridiculous to read a romance where one of them is mortal while the other isn't. Chemistry is so dead that I just cringe when they're together. Coz damn! He knew her as a wee baby. Seen her grow up and all! THE ICK IS ICKY
3. MC....sorry but she's as bland as ML. She's so goody goody that it's kinda boring. In her defense, she DOES have more spunk than others in the rofan category but something about her is just boring to me. Probably coz, tho not truly Mary Sue, she exudes the 'I'm an MC Heroine Aura' that it turns me off from reading more....does that make sense?

Wait, is there no revenge then? I started reading this for regret and revenge trope. I don’t want her family to have just some random death, I want confrontation. So, how did it happen in the novel?
From what I heard from the spoilers in instagram....... I think mari died in the end(idk how).....and the family's brainwashing was removed and then they all realised it that they were brainwashed and so and so...
I just want hard regret scenes and then revenge

To put it simply, just stretch out what's happening now and you got the whole story. The whole 70+ of it. I can't say specifics coz I didn't bother using MTL for the pages as everything just tired me out with browsing it.
That TN note at the end makes me laugh. Probably a sign for me not to even bother reading it coz why author gotta sneak in something nasty on extras. This plot is weird enough ಠ◡ಠ
you'll get what i mean when you read tojo-sensei other works┐(´ー｀)┌ her manga is good, but ruined with the unnecessary, morally questionable extras (like, voyeurism, i think she's into that since 3 of her manga contain that..)
but! you can read the main chapters w/o reading the extras! all in all her works are pretty good <(￣︶￣)>

Well they do say (no they don’t LOL) that some artist draw certain concepts because they’re too scared to do it themselves!
Spoiler...well nothing specific. Green flag ML, little to no misunderstandings, story has communication (thank goodness), actual good female characters, and quick to resolve conflicts.
