It's not particularly a good one either??? The plot is rushed, the ml is an insensitive jerk who keeps PUSHING mc's boundaries, and is very forceful for someone he's only met twice
I don't know, the plot is not rushed in my opinion. We don't necessarily need long getting-to-know-each -other arcs in every work. Some stories are meant to start at the turning point in characters' lives. It fits this one (fot me at least).
ML seems more ignorant than insensitive. Considering his upbringing and role, his behaviour kind of makes sense. It's not malicious or intentional. But that's just me, I guess ╮(￣▽￣)╭
