I was confused too I thought he meant the fact that Nick introduced Ash to him? But I still don't know if that's what he meant bc it didn't make sense
It was when Nick and Ash were going on dates and that part got cut out from the manhwa, Karlyle saw them hugging each other and he scolded Nick, Ash had a bad impression on Karlyle because of that so thatâs why Karlyle didnât know if Ash remember their âgoodâ (the New Yearâs Eve kiss) or âbadâ (when he scolded Nick) first meeting

I donât really know but what I mentioned above is from KyleNickâs novel âEgg Benedictâ, not from DTR. Egg Benedict is a sequel of DTR and it hasnât had a manhwa adaptation yet so maybe they decided to cut everything out so as not to complicate the charactersâs relationship (?)
