I think it was a dropped series, I don't see any raws past volume 2. I'd read this before and thought to look into it since I remember picking up volume one at one of my local libraries to read years back. Shame since it had a lot of promise to it, but when a story comes out it all depends if it's the right time for certain genre's, but I do know there is a light novel, but upon looking further into this series I did discover that this series is a SIM game.
So I guess it's who the author wanted her to end up with would have been the answer lol. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
