I kinda sympathize with her. If the plot doesn’t go as to planned, she’s worried she might have to go back to the world where it seems like nobody really cares for her.
Even if she fall in love with the ML, as long as she didn't committed the evil deed, she would be safe and sound. I honestly don't understand why the villainess who transmigrated/reincarnated feel the need to befriend the ML/FL or playing cupid, just leave them alone, and goes your own way. Either you fight for it or leave it, I don't like a pushover who always get swayed, always goes on 'I shouldn't fall in love' but wagging her tail over and over again and eventually she would run away because they scared if they gonna get hurt later, in the end not only she hurts the ML but herself as well.

not really the MC is a sweet cinnamon roll and the prince is the "prefect and cold prince" type (and the MC is super terrified of catching feelings for the ML) she basically tells him that she doesn't like him
