Ok so wtf was that?!?!? I finally give in and read and stay up even though I've worked in a few hours and this wasn't worth it.
Honestly, the story didn't suck. And it's kind of an open ending..I think. But I wanted things wrapped up in a bow. Life isn't wrapped with a bow thats why I read lol. Anyways, the last few chaps were really rushed and felt like I was reading an almost different story. What happened to the cross dresser and bestie? What about the sister and the young chairman's daughter? What about ml family, etc..since they mentioned the brother and art, etc!?!? Like wtf..so many unanswered questions....

I found it kind of forced how Valerie, in This life, and maybe he did in previous lives but its shown in this life, romantically loves Rose. Like all I get from them is sibling energy mostly. Like I could see him with the white haired chick or some other good friend of the fl.
I just don't like him to be a second ml. A doting older sibling is more my preference for him.

This has a spoiler in the reviews i think and apparently it goes deeper than I thought. Ml is a bit of a red flag I think based on what was said and the novel didn't do justice with everything. But those aren't my opinions. I'm hoping the manwha is different than the nivel..at least in fleshing things out.

I think in the review, and I could be remembering wrong, but it said that the ml actually recognized mc and was a spy for mc mom just like mc american friend. It also mentioned how ml purposefully messed up mc name. Like it was more of a mindfuck than anything.

I honestly don't know. Yes the ML was hired by the mc's mother to spy on her son. But what the failed to say is that the ML was an orphan who was provided for by the mc's mom. She was his benefactor. She even helped to place him in a good foster home with loving guardians. So when she approved him to help tutor and spy on her son, he basically couldn't say no to her after everything she has done for him. He never did it for the money. He did it in a form of gratitude. ML actually thought the MC was a spoiled brat before meeting him cause his mom is so rich but when he interacted with the mc and say that he was a good kid, he felt extremely guilty for what he did. Everytime he acted nice or friendly with the mc was because he genuinely liked him
Fl sometimes bothers me. Like yay help the child, etc, but it's also like she is sticking her nose in too much and just banking on ml to help her (although she sometimes thinks he wont). Like what if he didn't want to put his life on the line for someone else, since isn't that what the forest people are known for? Or maybe I am mixed up.
Anyways, happy he will help child, he's a good ml. I think I like him more than the fl.
