Martha can kick rocks. In stories, you have foes who become friends and actually serve a purpose. Usually it's for growth, or enemies or rivals to lovers, or something. I've found no purpose and this character has just been annoying. This is my opinion at least. I get that she becomes his friend later, but for the love of all that is holy, please only let "mysterious" gray hair Runan be his fl if he has one. It isnt just that martha was adopted... it isnt that she repeated a year and dates have shit to say to mc.. It isnt just that she worked hard, but it's annoying that she undermines mc because of rumors and predjudice? Like wtf..my rant is that I dont care for her character and even the blue haired cousin is likable to me now and she isnt...
