they do get back but like they said it takes a good while, I think it was months of ml being down bad, bothering mc at his job every day with the excuse of reviewing a project both their companies were working on,, i did feel they dragged it on for a tad too long maybe here it'll go faster than in the novel,, we do get a good amount of ml begging on his knees with tears and everything, could say it almost made it all worth it
