the art is really pretty but the story lacks any substance lol. like, why is kei acting like a toddler when he is a grown ass man— and i get that the author wanted to portray him as cat-like, and it was cute at first but by the end he just reads retarded lmfao. also, neither of them grows as characters, because noah's whole schtick is that he is foreign looking and that gained him favour with other japanese people and its not like we see his personality beyond being "kind" to kei (which is literally what his "job" was), and kei doesn't even make it five feet outside his house (if you want to make thr argument that he "overcame" the obstacle of leaving his zone of comfort for the trade-off that would be "finding love"(?)), when he stops noah from leaving.
idk the smutty scenes are really erotic and as i said the art style is very beautiful, but the actual story and the panneling leave much to be desired
lmfaooo why are people so pressed about it kou was a repressed gay dude who imprinted on one of the only genuine connections he made in his formative years and STILL left when he realized his feelings weren't appropriate because he feared his interactions onwards would "taint" the little dude HE OBVIOUSLY felt guilty about it. also it wasnt like he was attracted to children he liked shion because they BONDED and may i repeat that he LEFT.
imo i would have liked to see shion's background story a little more just because i liked his unhingedness im a sucker for fucked up characters but over all it all ended up being a pretty sweet story bc both acknowledged the hurt they caused each other and still worked towards a good resolution (even if they still should have seeked therapy, but oh well).

my man's heart is taken and i honestly love that he is so pathetic for his one and only love so I will not take offense that it didn't go further but CMOOOONNNNNN WE ARE STARVING OUT HERE WE NEED TO SEE SOME ACTION
