Masterful. I adored it from start to end.

I am continuously blown away by manhwa. So many I've read, especially of this length, are just, cream of the crop, excellent.
I have so many favourite moments - the setup of Jaerim's hypocrisy about bullying and his own attitude towards Yuri, their slow fall in love, their final reconciliation and declaration of love....gorgeous.
I even liked the side characters! Like, all of them! I think Yumin is my favourite although I totally forgot about him for a good chunk of the series, he was out of it for so long haha. And the dynamic between Heeno and Aerak is so interesting, two selfish awful people from different sides of the coin~ I wish everyone so much happiness, my heart really swelled bidding everyone goodbye at the true end. What an amazing cast and excellent storytelling.
Literally my only nitpick is pacing - this was such a dramedy that it gave me thematic whiplash at times, haha~

More thoughts I forgot whoops! I love that gay!! is a word!! in this story!! So commonly you see characters who claim to be straight all throughout or are extremely bothered with being called gay or, most common of all, react in really stupid unrealistic ways. To date this is the most realistic reaction I've seen to the question and answer, including internalized homophobia and general questioning, and Joohee's reaction to her brothers' orientations was so sweet and I love her so much.
And I was so close to being 100% onboard with Hyung (Ik that's not his name but there were a lot of names and he was a late-gamer); I was totally prepared for him to drop like a hat, but him developing feelings towards Jaerim... Well it threw me for a loop to say the least.
Jaerim is adorable and I love him!!!!

A new fairytale, a beautiful and simple story, lovely art, dynamic characters, interesting plot.... What a heckin' deal! This was really incredible, that fairy tale telling of the doll and his master going to heaven had me tearing up ;; And woot! Power bottom Shin!! I did not expect and was not disappointed, extremely good, love his attitude shift in those 13 years and how unabashed he is about what he wants~ Really excellent :D

Oh dang, I am glad that omake of the two of them being closer in age never came to pass. Good on you author! Not making a tired old cliche of two people getting in constant spats and yet still someone supposed to have chemistry!
Honestly though, I've already commented here about how this is one of the best ABO stories I've ever read; it delves into so many themes I've never seen in these kinds of stories, the pain, the emotional torment, the self control, the fall from power into helplessness and being so in love that it shakes you to the core.... thanks heavens it wasn't traded out for that awful sounding pilot haha!

Amen! I agree with you at 100% percent!

I've read this one three times now and each time it manages to bring something new out of me. Apparently this time if was tears, going through my own family issues. Super powerful, as always, and of course really excellent in almost every other way too haha

So I like to give a fair shake to stories, even ones I don't like, but I have to be honest, nothing makes me want to continue after reading Vol. 1
Quickly tossing the problematic themes of lampshading the rape with drugging, molestation, and general emotionally-dead idiocy, there's nothing compelling to pull me through to Vol. 2. The writing is so flat and just, nothing; none of the characters are well rounded enough to be invested in, most of them are stupid, the others are malicious, and that also clashes with the rather cutesy art style.
I've enjoyed this artist before, but her strong suit has always been visuals and not story, so I guess it's not surprising. I enjoy easy-going and simple stories, but the characters have to be the driving force to make it interesting. Having too large a cast will also drag it down, and Vol. 1 has well proved that.

In the later volume (forgot which one) they actually talk about the rape and Maya apologizes about it.

That's fair enough. Maybe after a palette cleanse I'll be able to get there

I respect your opinion, everyone has their own likes and dislike but just wanna share a few things that might change your mind about reading on. About the cast being to big it's mostly only in Vol. 1 that those side stories with other characters get thrown in the rest of the story really does focus on 1 couple being Maya and Nemu. Also about the characters I find that stories like these that are meant to be longer character growth and development takes time and I think the mangaka did a great job with this because they really do grow and mature as the story moves forward especially Maya. Well just thought I'd share (: of course if you don't like it you 't like it can't be helped lol

I did not expect to cry on this shota-ass yaoi of all things. But it did it; had my cry, twice. Takara and Elle's relationship was too much for my heart and eyes, oh boy. Really loved the flashbacks with their strained initial relationship, somehow it was still really effective even knowing how it would turn out. And seeing Takara realize Elle's intentions, heck gosh
Kinda want more??? Did not expect, but I want more Lian and Red and Shima, such a great cast!
