They were boss and subordinate. MC's father is a mafia(?) boss, and Daejun is like a spy/informant planted by the father to watch over mc, but ml ignored all that and stayed loyal to mc till the end. ML secretly loved mc, that's why he stayed loyal but was devastated at the news of his death. But then he found out that Sihyeon is actually Hajin, that's why he's helping and pursuing him now that he got his second chance

As someone who loves drawing, I didn't find any similarities in terms of art or poses during the time I read both Fuck with Kyou. I have no respect for her. Yeah I know, but usually if I have money, I also read the official one. So I support them I also follow their account. So it's my choice whether to read or not. But for now, I'm not gonna read Shutline, not because of this problem too, I also feel that the story is too rush and forgets important points such as Shin's younger brother which dies quickly without any further story development.
