That was the most rushed ending ever I feel like someone just pulled a carpet from under my feet. I mean wholesome story but wow super fast ending.
I am not rocking with this twink anymore cuz nah what are you doing. Staying with your ex fbuddy?? Getting confessed to by the fbuddy in question?? Staying the night after the confession?? Just gross. All while his partner is worried all night wondering where the twink was. Meanwhile bro was sleeping peacefully under the same roof he was getting his back blown out maybe like a month or two ago. ON TOP of the salt to the wound of the twink forcing him to meet his mother before he was ready. This story is on thin ice cuz I'm about to drop it.
Only took him 90+ chapters to confess to her and knowing Hestia she's gonna blabber away about nonsense and fumble it
The ML physically grosses me out so much. It's giving emotionally manipulative abusive husband in both past and present. I really wish FL had a spine cuz she's folding to a man that thought that he could order around and reap all of her benefits.
She gave up her body and guiding powers to a man who didn't even like her or respect her as a human being. And now he wants to act like a "devoted" husband? After killing emotionally neglecting her and killing her? He even isolated her from her friends and colleagues in the past, which is a classic sign of abuse.
So frustrating how FL is letting this man walk all over her boundaries and letting this poison take over her life once again. Girl, stand up for yourself. But it's not that deep at the end of the day since it's just a story so I'm just gonna drop this.
Fl is so sloppy. She:
1. Attended her own funeral in a veil that could easily be flipped up
2. Working at a suspected murderer's mansion as a maid without even attempting to dye her hair or change her appearance. Her murderer would obviously know what she looks like and she has a very distinct hair color and eye color. Like cmon now be smarter
3. Dropping scissors in from of her suspected murder. Any normal lord would be sussed out if a maid approached them at night with a weapon.
4. Going way too much into detail about her life despite saying she's just a maid that never met the lady.
If the black hair is actually her murderer (which probably not since he would've killed her a long time ago), her half assed disguise would've gotten her killed by now.
I think it’s cause no one has seen her since her dad has had her locked up since young. When the duke spots her she even says how it’ll be impossible for her to recognize her since no one has ever seen her.

While it is her husband's fault for being a terrible partner and a cheater, FL is also responsible for ignoring his countless red flags and staying in a loveless marriage. FL is stuck in a loveless and disappointing relationship because she purposefully lowered for standard to please her ugly ass "husband". He has so much to gain from this marriage: money, social status, and a free sex worker and maid. Her youth is being wasted on this man and by the time she snaps out of it may be too late for her to biologically have kids (if she wants them).
If a man knows you want a wedding venue, he will work alongside you to save up money for this once in a life time occasion. If you want a court house wedding then by all means go ahead, but make it a special day while you're at it. You can even elope in a different country and have a small, intimate wedding ceremony! Have a fancy dinner, go on a trip, enjoy your honeymoon. Don't wait on a guy (or girl) who gives you empty promises and makes you feel lonely in a relationship.
But yeah that's my small rant, I hope yall don't ever experience what FL is experiencing. Don't let someone who is supposed to cherish you take advantage of your affection.

All of them are, they never will understand the psychology behind emotional dependency specially in such a patriarchal society like Korea. Their minds are too shallow too understand the societal structure that this manhwa brings beautifully btw, not only about marriage and patriarchy, but about work vs individual too.

Totally. It is easier for them to simply blame the women than understand a complex societal structure like this. But I am very happy this manga brought this in such a good way instead of a shallow one, the side characters talking, the women talking, the guys talking about their "old wives". I came for the smut stayed for the plot.
It's quite sad since they stop themselves from fully appreciating the beauty of the story and it's truly a well written one.

About the ml, he is just the way I like (I am a yandere lover), like he is twisted, but he seems to care more about the FL than about satisfying himself. When he said for example "should I tease her more and see her all sad? I like her expression when she is about to cry", but then he concluded "I like her too much for that". I feel he is red flag, but green for his girl?
I like yanderes too and yeah, while he'll most likely be a green flag to her, what I'm worried about is him making a rash mistake in an attempt to help her (rushing to deal with her husband e.t.c) and creating a misunderstanding that will lead to fear and distrust towards him.
I think that will happen for sure, cause we need drama . And Korean authors love misunderstandings
