But still, altering your voice can really change it. And if you do it so much, you will be able to convice others because it is so much different than your original voice. Tone means more, too.
If you whach anime, see one episode of 'Detectice Conan', the mc's voice is a woman's (If I know right), and voices a male kid, and her 'serious' voice resembles of an adult man.
Or there is Aoi Shouta, who is a man but can easily play as a woman despite being a man.
Voice should not be the one thing you pick out...
