I think it's gonna wrap up in 67 chapters
Uke said he'll go with seme where he's being transferred. Uke has been thinking finishing his work projects or smth fast for that reason. We'll understand more once it's translated but I do think jn last chapter they'll just rush it I mean it won't be on detail. The shift n all. Honestly there is so much I want to see at the same time it just feels right for it stop here
I actually want to see more of the story related to their family, like how they end up accepting them after disowning them. I'm most curious about Eunyool's mom, like how she went from disowning them to helping them yet still refuse any communication with her son and even returned his graduation book to asking a huge ass photo of them to be sent. I think there's still a lot of holes in their story, that's why I don't feel like it's nearing the ending yet. It most definitely be a rushed ending, except if the author gives us extras.
I was going to reply the same thing then I realized something from my own thoughts like we might not see some moments such as their families accepting them cuz this has been the most realistic work about a queer couple that I have ever seen and that's why it feels like it wont all work out suddenly just cuz the story is ending. In real life some families accept the queer couples in most they disown them even if it's their own flesh n bones. It's not always a happy ending in real life for in such
matters things. It's just one of many things they have to lose. Queers I mean. I naively even thought I want to see them get married adopt a baby and live happily ever after then I remembered queer marriages are not legal in s Korea(?) and the society is still not very accepting of the queer community. They don't have the luxury of having that normal happiness just cuz people think they aren't normal So we won't see that here either. I think we have seen the domestic side, the been together for decade side, the intimate n understanding side of them both through the whole journey and for now that's all they are also allowed to have according to judgemental society. That's why I feel it is right place for this work to end. It will remain in the back of my head for years n years and when the queer marriages are legal in sk I think I'll remember them n celebrate that they can get married n adopt a baby now. Those two aren't really a fictional characters. They share the same story as many queer couples in real life. Sry this got hella long.
No, I understand, and I know many parents still can't accept their kids being queer. However, in this story, they're already accepted, so I was kinda hoping they'd tell us how their family came to accept them, maybe through flashbacks or someone's mouth. All we know is Eunyool's parents started accepting Wonwoo thanks to his sister, but we don't even know how and when they began communicating again. They already shown them being together, then struggling from being disowned, then why not showing their struggle to be accepted? This story is about their life and relationship, and I'm sure that's a very huge part of their story. The author can still make the story realistic since they've got maybe around 7 years after graduation get accepted by their parents. I mean, they're already accepted anyway, so for sure making the story realistic isn't the reason that keeps the author to tell that story to us.
