This beeter if he forgave them which would be best punishment for them as they didn't repent and kept blaming crown prince. While they will feel guilty although not now but at some point they would. As the marquis did repent and died but he would have felt guilty for all the things he and his sister had done in the past. The first empress has already gone mad which can be the best punishment. While our FL and ML can live happily without feeling guilty that ML killed his brother whom he loved alot.
