I'm confused as hell and I think Lamia is stupid as hell to keep pushing the dukedom on Uri. He's not fit for it, it's so fucking obvious that he's a suffering from PTSD. It's stupid of her to think that being an untrained knight will help.
My only guess is that the 2nd prince turned back time to save Lamia and there were some consequences with how some things went down. I also feel like Ethan has some magic, and has been disguising himself as the 2nd prince to do horrible stuff.
Finally some valid criticism on Lamia's character and not some dumb shit people keep saying about her not accepting Aquilla easily blah blah blah Uriel being annoying blah blah blah. I do agree that she is going after it wrong and Uriel isn't suited to be a knight nor the head of the dukedom. Due to the way the world works though, I think Lamia's thought process is going along the lines of making him still able to not be a complete social outcast? Because the first born tends to be the family head then the second child a knight. Uriel can't be a knight so in order to save face and also his reputation she thinks the route to go is to switch roles. Personally I think Uriel is suited for careers outside of both knighthood and being the family head, though if he can heal mentally and emotionally I do think he can become a knight again but just needs to go through lots of training so he can use a one handed weapon with his un-mangled hand

I haven't seen alot of Rias to actually have any bias toward him. Granted he's super pretty. He's just meh compared to Hal who's just soooo goddamn pure. The chemistry between him and Lippe is just off the charts

Yeah I really love this story and all but I didn't expect this manga to have that cliche typical loss memory arc and its been dragging for all. This arc only made me hate Jeanette.
