with how many times he has made that baby cry he's getting the award for worst bottom of the yeart atp man please fix this mess
Power dynamics are only a problem, when the person with power uses it to get something from the person without. Also, the ML being into older men, kinda negates the age power dynamics as well. Like, he knows MC is older and more experienced, and he actively wants that. MC has tried nipping MLs feelings in the bud, because MC made it clear he wasn't into a romantic relationship, and didn't want to lead ML on. MC has also gone above and beyond to keep the sex and work life separate, because he never wanted it to effect their work lives.
Oh, last thing, editors work for authors, and an author not working properly reflects on the editors work performance. They are technically closer to equals, as they both work under the publisher. Under MLs contract, he would be expected to write a certain amount by a deadline, and the editor then reads it over, gives feedback, asks questions, advises on changes, keeps in contact with their authors, and keeps their authors aware of deadlines. But they are not the authors boss, which is important to note. It is why you will often see editors begging their authors for them to meet their deadlines, or lighting a fire under their asses. They are essentially the motivation police for authors. People need to stop equating an editor to the person who hired the author, when they both work under the same company, and were basically both hired to work together on the same job. The reason the authors tend to feel shame for not producing results, is because it is them not doing their half of the team project.
not related to this chapter but bihwa is very close to realizing that if getting "seoho" back means losing minchan (or losing BOTH of them), he'd rather not get "seoho" back
Just a ig sorta theory but it seems like seoho and his relationship wasn’t as real as the relationship he’s starting to have with minchan, like I hope to maybe see more flashbacks revealing their relationship but so far it doesn’t seem very good? Like from the off hand comments from minchan about certain intimacy between the two, i feel like bihwan thinks of it very differently than it really was
i was thinking about it too, seoho seemed way more closed off than minchan is, probably bc he lived for a bigger purpose, and bihwa only cared about being with him
but i thought, if minchan and seoho are anything alike, and we already saw that minchan treats bihwa harsh even though he already has feelings towards him as a way to shield himself... could that mean seoho's coldness isn't what we're thinking and he too was shielding himself? when i saw the flashbacks i just thought that bihwa was being used by seoho tbh, but after seeing minchan lying about helping him bc he wants to be free from bihwa and blablah... if i didn't know better i would have believed him lol
either way minchan and bihwa are going to get closer from now so their relationship is gonna get more developed than what bihwa got with seoho that's for sure
You’re so right! Maybe he sealed him away to protect him from that yellow-eyed guy and his distance intimacy wise could stem from social standards of the time, bihwan might not care bc he’s not human but seoho would still have to live by human social norms which at that time I would guess be pretty conservative T^T minchan while harsh still takes care of him and teaches him about the time period and I’m noticing how bihwan has barely called him seoho which has me kicking my feetttttt
i trusted he would end up calling him minchan by the end of the past season, yeah he has some mishaps here and there but he's getting better, tho im also eager to see minchan call him bihwa someday too he hasn't called him by his name yet so that makes me think the authors are gatekeeping that moment for later, in fact we learned bihwa's name bc of that flashback of seoho calling him that cus nobody has asked him for his name yet they only call him dokkaebi

don't get me wrong i love the story and both characters but why is it so hard for people to see when the bottom is the one in the wrong?
1. he took advantage of his mind-reading power, he knew the younger guy liked him and wanted to fuck him, so he pounced on him FIRST bc he knew forehand that the guy wouldn't say no
2. he's way older than the guy, and it wasn't necessary to read his mind to know he's also inexperienced, but he can read minds, so he also knew of his inexperience
3. he keeps rejecting him but then going back to him, he has to bc of work but he's also using it as an excuse and denies it to himself
4. WORK!!!!!!! they have a fucking work power imbalance, he's not only younger than him but he's also in charge of him at work, that dynamic has also granted the older guy access to him through their work reunions and to his home when he was sick
that older man is very hot and i love seeing him getting stuffed BUT he's in the wrong here im happy for finding this manhwa bc is gonna be my favorite for a long time
Only the truth was spoken! There's no place in which the bottom can twist this, he's the "bad guy" here. If I was the younger guy I would be done with him by the first time the bottom try to spin this.
Thank you
they're both in the wrong. bottom guy is a manipulative sex addict while the top guy is a pushy and clingy sex addict who can't handle a rejection. they both deserve each other lol
Ily pls never die by choking
real!! except 4 the last one, he’s his editor, not his boss
