thought it was a romance so i stayed but the character development is SO GODDAMN SLOW and even slower is the relationship development and if the other characters were even a little likable, i would've sustained my attention
but isis is boring, osiris is shit, annubis is a robot now and the hawthor is insufferable
the author only focuses on random plot events like the caravan and whatnot to expand the lore of the world but they neglect to include some slice of life moments with the characters. We just hear from the humans that isis did great things but it's never shown.

idk if they changed the genres but this manhwa isn’t tagged as romance (it’s barely bl at this point) so if you’re waiting for that, you might as well drop this, bestie. im personally really invested in the story (and hoping i get to see osiris actually die and never come back), i love the pacing, and love love love the characters—even the ones i love to hate. it’s been 161 chapters and u still don’t vibe with the story so maybe you should drop this, babes. and maybe you can come back to it once it’s done so you can fastforward or smth.

I love the art style and the lore of the world but what grabbed my attention in this story were the characters on the cover, Seth and Horus.
We see a lot of character building when it comes to Seth and how he's overcoming his tyrranical past but we're lacking when it comes to the other characters.
Horus' perspective never really gets expanded alongside Seth when they confront Seth's past.
And not addressing the bad things Isis did to cover up for Osiris makes her very unlikable as well. That's why I wanted the good stuff that the humans say about her to be shown.
This is not a personal dig at the story, it's just my personal feedback.

This manga had a really unconventional plot line that was super satisfying and the story progression didn’t feel slow or cumbersome. I most liked atsushi’s character, he’s so dorky and wholesome :)
