Yikes...biphobic much?

I dont think its unnecessary, if you have a parther who dated the opposite sex all his life you will have doubts . Especially when hes also always in contact with his ex . To be blunt i dont think you have a lot of experience in different relationships , and this is coming from a bi person who dated both sexes

I understand. As a bisexual person myself I wasn't a fan of the fact that the author used Shizuma's sexuality to create more drama, especially while perpetuating negative stereotypes surrounding bisexuality (they are greedy, they will eventually leave you for someone of the opposite sex etc). I realize that this will all end well and that they'll solve their issues but the fact that it was even brought up left a bitter taste in my mouth. I see your point and understand its not unrealistic but I just didn't like that it's even a 'plot point'. Hope I made sense

I totally understand, but what bothers me most in this manga, honestly, is the stereotypical girl that is always in yaoi manga to bring trouble.
As a pansexual, the fear of your loved person to leave you for someone of the opposite sex because they want a family and a child of their own is something I see and actually saw a female collegue do to her girlfriend of several years. So its not a stereotype, its domething that happens a lot, and in Asia most due to the prejudice against homosexuality and pression to create a family and heirs quickly.

I see. I wasn't trying to imply that stuff like that never happens, like I said it's not unrealistic, but just the fact that his bisexuality is now a 'problem' threw me off since I wasn't expecting something like it from this manga. I also got annoyed since I'm tired of bisexual people being perceived through negative stereotypes both in real life and in fiction, since, like I've said, even though it does happen sometimes in real life it definitely doesn't warrant the biphobia bisexual people experience from both straight and non straight people. When I read stuff like this I don't expect casual biphobia to be thrown into my face and the author made a conscious choice to include it and make 'drama' out of it. It felt really cheap in my opinion. You may disagree and you have every right to do so, I'm not trying to change your opinion, just to explain mine.
As for the girl character I wholeheartedly agree. I don't want to make this comment longer than it already is so I'll just say that imo this manga doesn't really have the best writing and end it there.
This was amazing. It's a masterpiece
