I read this because of the mc's cool character in the chapter 1. Its funny and entertaining but idk if there's a plot. It just randomly showed missions and scenarios.
I don't know if I understand what you mean, the story is about the MC and his life, its about how he grows stronger, how badass and funny he is, the plot os that, and it's always clear why he goes on missions, they don't give more detail about the missions because it isn't necessary as they are only stepping stones for the MC to grow stronger and meet new characters.

Probably got into an accident while crossing the road because he was so preoccupied and looking at his phone checking if the the other dude message him. He got poor social skills (which is pretty much obvious in the chapters). His break up habit is his way to confirm if his lover still cares and love him.
