And Eldegarde is clearly taking advantage of that. The school is trying to be a bubble, a small world where monarchy doesn’t exist. But it’s all fake. What they do at school HAS to impact those outside it, otherwise the school actually has no purpose. So Eldegarde uses this false pretense of a world where he has more authority than the crown prince to affect the real world where the crown prince has more authority than him.

Overall it’s a stupid system and the ML should have contacted his parents the moment official duties were being delayed.

There are so many things I like about this. The pack dynamics are so far accurate, including the part where a strong female naturally takes leadership. Also the wolves seem monogamous so far which is also realistic. And while we don’t quite know what Hwan’s situation is, it’s also known for solo males to join up and wander around looking for a pack to join or a mate to start their own pack.

But my favorite part was Hwan’s arm transforming. Like, YES give me beastmen who aren’t all on or all off. Give me beastmen who have more than cute ears and maybe a tail (outside of chibi anyways). Let’s do this the interesting way and really show why these half beasts are different from humans.

The series ending with the chapter 1 title actually gave me a chill. It’s not easy explaining past life/time travel succinctly, but I’m glad they did because that was so cool!!!

Of course, her husband knows nothing about that so he doesn’t understand where she’s coming from. But Kaelus isn’t wrong to ask Hestia to focus on their marriage instead of someone else’s. Diana isn’t their problem anymore. Instead of wasting their lives being vengeful, Kaelus and Hestia could be growing their own love.

Really hoping this love flag can hold on… Author-nim seems to have a talent for swapping out fluff with cold hard reality. But I believe in you, little unnamed ML! With those reflexes, you should be able to fight well and if you can become a war hero you might be able to marry a princess!!!

Ok but there was this reddit story about a dude who tried to save his boss from her “abusive” husband after she showed up at work with concealed hickeys and knee bruises. Guy then got all pissy because he was just “trying to do the right thing”.

And benefit of the doubt to Shin Seungmin; I attribut this more to stupidity than malice. But the FL’s point still stands. He doesn’t know her well enough to be asking for her life’s details. She doesn’t owe him anything, and he’s also given her creep vibes for a while so she’s even less likely to trust his motivations.

Also even if she WAS being abused and denying it, the best thing he could do is quietly support her and be a safe person to go to if/when she decided to leave.
