i love that for once the ml is tackling the situation head on and not giving any sway. completely mowing past his brother the emperor lol. The assistant "He abandoned his brother for his lover" killed me ╮(￣▽￣)╭
cecil didn't love the heroine in the game. rather he found her interesting so he wanted to keep her around to entertain himself. on the other hand its bertie in this timeline, cecil is willing to change himself for her. he wants her to smile and be happy. he wants her attention. he wants what's best for her. he takes her feelings into consideration and truly seems to love and prioritize her rather than seeing her as merely an interest.

1. the third brother is ADORBS! I feel like he is someone who genuinely didn't know about them until they came. And when he did know about them he showed so much enthusiasm. The other two older knows knew but didn't hold interest while the dad left them knowing the mother was power hungry and a bitch. So third brother is the one I'm supporting and hoping for more fluffy moments
2. for those complaining about Arjen and Arien not accepting the emperor and family quickly enough. You guys need to remember that they undergone so much emotional and psychological and physical trauma that it is very difficult to move past. Every where they turn people are blaming them for being illegitimate. The emperor knew of the woman he left his children with yet did not care. Not to mention they have seen the scene where he was about to kill ishna their head maid so that should've left another impression that he is super intimidating and not someone to be angered. hence with that mindset its hard to cultivate a true familial relationship if it is built on fear. Besides, can you imagine being a midget and having the emperor constantly stare down at you and then sigh? What would you think huh? That would do a dent to my self-esteem even if i knew there was no malice in the gaze. The red haired guy said it right "after all this time do you finally feel sorry for the children...if only you protected them for the beginning". The second brother admitted that he knew of them but did not care. The first brother is intimidating as heck as he is stone faced and seems like a tsun. Everywhere they turn and everytime they hope, their existence is denied and they only have each other to truly rely one. Besides the second and third brother the other two don't seem good at articulating their thoughts and intentions. Communication is key and there is NONE.
3.the pudding scene. "The taste of no regrets" lol that killed me
4. third brother chibi reminds me of a Cheshire cat
5. seems confirmed that the red-haired guy might be the fox in the cover photo. He is probably shared between the two as their guardian since ch 19 the king mentioned that he felt sorry the two's guardian was such a wolf
