Her mom....what a bitch.I don't hate her....but I strongly dislike her and hold her in great contempt as a mother figure and a human being in general. Even after rereading her back story I cannot sympathize nor justify her behaviour as a mother. It was simple neglect and she pushed all her failures, wrongdoing, and misguided hatred towards kyoko. That woman is selfish, mean, hard-hearted, and a jaded asshole. That lawyer guy who accompanied her mother (not the father but her coworker who seems to have a crush one her) better run for the hills cause there is no way in hell that frozen loser can open her heart and work towards the future. she is too caught up by her own past and wallowing in self pity to even mentally harm and harass a child (╬￣皿￣)凸 The moment she was born, you deny her existence and refuse to touch her and mentally pressured her to a standard of perfection which was unrealistic and unachievable. Do you think adding the line "I'm afraid I would hurt you" would make everything better? You DID hurt her. tremendously. What you gave her was beyond pain and suffering. It was trauma and a scar which has left it's mark on her very being. Lady you are one messed up bitch. The only person to blame for her mistakes, her "shame and humiliation" is herself. Kyoko's ability to forgive and even show gratitude despite her mistreatment amazes me. I really can't say more other than wow. 10/10 on taking the high road and being the model of a super kind human being. For her sake....even if I dislike the mother and hold her with contempt....I hope that Kyoko's dream of true reconciliation can be achieved because she deserves happiness
