ive seen the spoilers abt that blonde guy dying, but idk why ppl would really be upset abt it? i can see why Black Scythe would wanna kill him, he'd be kinda dangerous if left unattended n Black Scythe can't know EVERYTHING he does...
n he even said "the only reason i haven't killed him is bc he can be useful to me" which means the moment he's not useful, he definitely would kill the blondie
maybe novel readers have their own reason tho, blondie doesn't seem like a good guy to me so i don't really mind if he dies LMAO
Exactly. Although I like the CEO, I understand why he gets the axe later on as it's literally been said since the beginning, and it inevitably happens. CEO doesn't exactly become that endearing in the novel either but I guess ppl start to think that the author just likes killing off the smart guys and leaves the "dumb" girls. And maybe cuz he's a hot psychopath. Otherwise, I don't think people would react that much if he wasn't such a good-looking guy.
as if the CEO is even that smart LMFAO he's just a guy w a bit of brain n a good face. ofc the other characters won't be as smart but it's like they can't ever beat the MC's lvl of "smartness", obviously they're all gonna seem kinda dumb in front of someone who's regressed over 100 times. i like this manhwa so i hope the "dumb" girls won't be insanely stupid at least, ahrin annoys me slightly but she's realistic n i can handle her personality
Pretty much, all falls short when you're up someone whose reaches are already way beyond the playing field. Just that other guys who come later may not feel as cunning as Mr. Psychopath here. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
And about Ahrin, you're so real for that. You can say she's not stupid since she's one of the first few to realize something important later. Honestly, you'll never have to worry about anyone around him doing whatever if MC focusing on his goals is what matters since he always have till the end.
i read the webtoon first n was disappointed by the jump, then i decided to watch the kdrama since i was curious abt the story
let's just say it was a pretty good decision (for me) bc their romance was absolutely adorable, seeing them again in the webtoon after the ending just makes it sm cuter too love Gu Won n Sa Rang

idc how many ppl say Solo Leveling isn't too well written, i like it bc it's a simple, quick n fun read im an ORV reader too tho so i dont wanna make a comparison n piss off chronic SL fans
anyways, i love suho already, like father like son
If this gets a sequel as you said "like father like son" do u think he's gonna disappear like sjw did
u mean a sequel as in, suho becoming a dad like jinwoo? i kinda doubt there'll be a sequel after suho's story but who knows it could be a generational thing where their dads always disappear for a certain amount of time, like how jinwoo's dad disappeared too... but then again, sometimes things get boring when they're too predictable
Some people just bitch about the manhwa and anime having higher ratings than their precious favorites. Personally I freaking loved SL, I've read it twice, watched the anime, and play the mobile game. Like you said it's a fun quick read. I have read many Mangas but the thing I love about Korean manhwas is their full page panels for action scenes unlike some manga where you need a magnifying glass to see what's going on.
THIS FR, while i love manhwas/novels w amazing world building n complicated stories, sometimes u just need smth like SL for lighter reads. maybe it's not the BEST thing, but u can't deny it's decent enough n it's fun n simple. can't wait for S2 of the anime
Yes me too, I' also love those kinds of complex stories, im really looking forward to season 2 and the cool fight scenes coming up like Baruka. SL may be kind of a standard Shonen fight story, but there is just something so cool about watching Jinwoo go from the weakest to the strongest. Despite that it did have some interesting plot twists. I always wished the manhwa had given some focus to some of the side characters but that is what the anime and even game are doing. I just started reading another interesting one called Omniscient Readers Viewpoint, if you liked SL I think you will like that one, I'm told it has a very complex plot and world building like you said, I also started Tower Of God that one is good too.
im an ORV reader!! im even reading the novel for it bc it's just so good LMAO i can't start the Tower of God webtoon bc the art style in the beginning is kinda meh for me.. so i'll catch up on S2 of the TOG anime once ive rewatched it
Oh I didn't know there was a novel for it, I'm still early on but I think that when I'm caught up with the manhwa I'll want to read the novel too. Lol where do you read it? Like is it in print and completed?
it is completed!! imo the best site to read webnovels for me is this one:
https://www.lightnovelworld.co/novel/orv-wn-16091308
have fun reading!
Wow thanks! I'm really glad I decided to respond to your op or I might never have known this. Lol
Oh sorry I have one more question, do you happen ti recall which chapter of the novel I go to once I'm caught up with the manhwa? It can be approximate.
as of Chapter 224 of the manhwa, it should be Chapter 192 of the novel (based on the title), so you can start from there just for a quick recap then continue with Chapter 193 !!
Thanks again, I'm up to chapter 25 and I have to say I'm really liking it so far, I might end up liking it more than SL and I'm still at the beginning. I hope it gets an anime one day cuz it would be perfect. Though it's darker and more violent but still so good.
It's like Solo Leveling meets Alice In Borderland.
im pretty sure an anime has been confirmed! also a K-movie is coming out for it soon
Oh yeah you're right! could have just looked it up. Lol but I'm so happy to hear it's that popular enough for an anime and possibly a movie. I'll be more interested in the anime and I will check out the movie just as long as it's not made by Netflix. Again I'm glad I responded to you, I've had a good day reading and I still have a long way to go.
Hey so I'm caught up on the manhwa, I couldn't stop reading! It's quickly become my favorite manhwa ever, talk about a complex crazy story. We'll now it's time to switch to the novel, and thanks again for the link to it.
