The son, for instance, hasn't shown any merit deserving of her guidance. Instead, he approached her arrogantly, demanding she teach him, all to serve his own selfish agenda of stealing the sword and proposing to another woman and yet she agreed to help him. This pattern mirrors his father's behavior, yet Elaine continues to allow herself to be used. While I understand her longing for love and companionship, and her inherently altruistic nature, it's imperative she prioritizes herself. So far, the only character deserving of my unwavering support is the sword, as he consistently embodies reason and truth.
